With a love of all things flora and fauna, a family tree dating back to the Victorian plant hunters, you can definitely say we have old roots.
With over 35 years’ experience in the floristry industry Kate has a true passion for flowers.
Formally trained as a florist at Southwark College. Kate’s love affair with flowers began in her teens as a ‘Saturday girl’ and resulted in her managing her own floristry shop at the tender age of 21.
Kate’s extensive skills as a florist have taken her around the world, creating arrangements for corporate clients, VIPs and celebrities. Designing, planning and creating much admired floral arrangements at numerous events including the BAFTAS, London Fashion Week, Selfridges and the Love Actually film set.
Kate also spent 12 years tutoring floristry at Jane Packers London Flower School, one of the top London designers, where she passed on her considerable knowledge and experience to students from all over the world.
Kate and her team now offer bespoke floral services and her passion to share her knowledge and experience inspired her to open her own flower school workshop over 5 years ago.

LEARNING TOGETHER
At Lily & Myrtle flower school we love to pass on our skills, experience and knowledge by showing you the techniques for you to be able to make your own designs. We offer a fun filled environment where you will learn various techniques and take home your creation to show others.
