Our Floristry Career Course is designed for anyone who dreams of turning a passion for flowers into a career. Whether you are completely new to floristry or considering a change in direction, this intensive five-day course provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to begin your journey in the floral industry.
Working in a small and supportive group of just six students, you will receive plenty of individual guidance while learning the practical techniques used by professional florists. Over the week you will build confidence creating a variety of designs while also gaining valuable insight into the business side of floristry.
The course combines hands-on practical sessions with useful industry knowledge, helping you understand not only how to create beautiful floral work but also how to develop a successful floristry business.

Price range: £362.50 through £1,450.00
Payment options:
1) Pay the full amount: £1450
2) Pay 25% deposit: £362.50 due today, with the remaining £1087.50 due before the class begins.
3) Pay 50% deposit: £725 due today, with the remaining £725 due before the class begins.
What You Will Learn
Throughout the week you will explore the foundations of professional floristry, including:
- Essential floristry tools and materials
- Preparing and caring for fresh flowers and foliage
- Creating popular retail designs
- Gift bouquets and wrapped flowers
- Seasonal arrangements and decorative designs
- Funeral flowers and traditional tributes
- Wedding flowers including bridal pieces and buttonholes
- Planning, ordering and working with clients
You will also be introduced to the business side of floristry, including pricing your work, sourcing flowers and understanding how to promote your services.
Course Experience
This course is taught in a small group environment, allowing for a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where everyone can learn at their own pace. By the end of the week you will have created a range of floral designs and developed the confidence to continue practising your skills.
Students will have the opportunity to photograph their work, helping you begin building a portfolio of designs.
